We believe that getting people outside is important work, and that the spaces we shape go on to shape us.

This mantra is at the heart of Buffalo Bayou Partnership’s new visual and verbal identity—which we are so proud, at long last, to share today. While it is difficult to summarize BBP in a single visual or set of words, what our team came back to again and again is that Buffalo Bayou and Houston are forever entwined.

As the nonprofit organization charged with the championing and stewardship of this significant natural resource, BBP has the honor of creating public spaces that draw people together along (and across!) the banks of this historic waterway, threading together people, projects, programs, and perspectives that celebrate the vitality and resiliency of our city and its iconic bayou.

You will begin to see this concept of the “thread” interwoven across their new materials, including their redesigned website (link in bio) that we hope will make understanding and engaging with their organization and Buffalo Bayou a richer experience.

Like the bayou itself, BBP aspires to be a unifying, transformative force for our city and each other by creating common ground along these banks—spaces we all share, cultivated through collaboration, innovation, and enduring investment in our communities.
