Desain Grafis Indonesia is the first encyclopedic volume of Indonesia’s graphic design history spearheaded by Pak Hanny Kardinata. Published in 2015 by DGI Press, it’s 320-pages tell the chronicles of how the graphic design field developed in Indonesia from the early 1900s to 2000.

We contributed by designing a foldout poster insert featuring a short essay by Antariksa titled “Graphic Design in Indonesian During the Japanese Occupation.” It covers the 3.5 year period of Japanese occupation (1942–45).
